The first super clash of the new season between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak hangs in the balance with the Porcupine warriors playing in the CAF Confederations Cup.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko will have to negotiate a tricky tie against Algerian giants ES Setif in the CAF Confederations Cup play off.

Kotoko were eliminated from the CAF Champions League against Al Hilal Omdurman after failing to raise a team in the second leg clash against the Sudanese side after losing the first leg tie at home.

The Ghanaian giants who have hinted of their readiness to challenge the manner of their elimination against Al Hilal will face ES Setif on 14th February,2021 before traveling to Algeria on the 21st February,2021.

The Ghana Premier League game between Kotoko and Hearts of Oak is set to come off between 12-15 February 2021 which falls within the same date as the CAF Confederations Cup fixture with ES Setif.

With this the GFA will forced to postpone the league fixture.
