The Ghana Premier League Week 32 match between Asante Kotoko and Great Olympics has been relocated to the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

Originally set to be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, the fixture has been moved due to the temporary closure of the stadium.

According to a statement from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Tuesday, the Baba Yara Sports Stadium pitch will be unavailable for domestic competitions until after Ghana's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Central African Republic.

This decision aims to provide the pitch managers ample time to enhance its quality ahead of the crucial qualifier scheduled for Monday, June 10.

The GFA statement confirmed, "The Ghana Premier League Matchday 32 fixture between Asante Kotoko and Accra Great Olympics will now take place at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Sunday, June 2, 2024."

Asante Kotoko will hope that the change of venue does not disrupt their plans as they aim for victory to ensure a strong finish to the season.
