Former Asante Kotoko striker, Stephen Manu says that his former side will win the Ghana Premier League title but face a lot of pressure from the pursuing pack.

The porcupine warriors currently have a two point lead atop the league table with 45 points while their nearest rivals Hearts of Oak have 43 points after 25 matches.

Speaking in an interview with our reporter, Akakpo Agodji, Manu says that Kotoko will end top of the table although Hearts and the pursuing pack will haunt them.

"So far I can really say Kotoko will win the Ghana Premier league but there is pressure from the bottom of the table if they make mistakes Hearts can win the league but I tip Kotoko to be the first on the league log and Hearts of Oak will finish second place on the league table" added

The Ghana Premier League title race is hotting up with some few matches to end the season as just two points separate Kotoko and second place Heart of Oak.

Even aside Hearts of Oak five points separate Kotoko and the remaining four teams in the top 5 as any slip up will mean a change of baton at the top.
