Head coach of the Black Stars, C.K Akonnor has heaped plaudits on Ajax midfielder Kudus Mohammed for being a fantastic player after his display in Ghana's 1-0 loss to Morocco.

The Ajax midfielder was among players who shone in the 1-0 defeat to Morocco in the friendly match as he produced another fearless display,

Ghana will face Ivory Coast on Saturday in another friendly match after Tuesday's 1-0 defeat to Morocco.

The team arrived in Ghana this morning and have headed to Cape Coast to continue with their preparations towards the Ivory Coast friendly.

Ghana were without a lot of key players in the squad with Arsenal midfielder Thomas Paretey, Brentford midfielder Tariqe Fosu, Mubarak Wakaso all did not play a part in the game.

Speaking to the GFA in house media team, C.K Akonnor says that Kudus can produce magic at any and was excited by the team spirit.

"He is a good player, fantastic. He can produce magic at every giving time. Our Captain (Andre Ayew), and his brother (Jordan Ayew). We played with some team spirit and understanding and that is what excites me."

"I am very happy about the way we played; of course I am not happy that we lost so we need to look forward to how to improve in that area and that is my thinking now," he said.
