Ghana and West Ham midfielder Kudus Mohammed once again received the Man of the Match award in their narrow 1-0 victory over Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup third-round clash at Sincil Bank on Wednesday night.

The match proved to be a challenging one, with the English League One side pushing the Hammers to their limits until they finally broke the deadlock in the 70th minute.

Lukas Fabianski showcased heroic goalkeeping skills, making numerous saves to keep West Ham in the game until they secured the late victory.

Despite the tough nature of the match, Tomas Soucek's towering header from Saïd Benrahma's corner kick in the 70th minute proved to be enough to send the Hammers through to the next round.

The 23-year-old Kudus Mohammed earned his second start since joining West Ham United, playing the full match and delivering an outstanding performance. He recorded three shots during the game, earning him the title of the best player in the match.

After scoring on his first start against Backa Topola in the Europa League, the talented playmaker received another accolade following his second start, with hopes for more playing time in the upcoming matches, starting with this Saturday when they host Sheffield United in the Premier League.

West Ham United will now face the formidable Arsenal in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
