How the mighty has fallen as the once vibrant Cornerstone have been relegated further down the football pyramid to the Division Three with a game to end the Division Two season.

The former Ghana powerhouse have suffered relegation from the Division Two to the fourth tier of Ghana football.

This follows their 1-1 drawn game against Prof Quarm in their match day 13 clash last Thursday.

Kumasi Cornerstone currently lie bottom of the  Zone five league standings with 8 points four points adrift the 7th placed team with a game to end the season.

A powerhouse in Ghana Football in the 1970s and 80s, Corners succeeded in unearthing many great Ghanaian talents including Razak Golden boy, Stephen Frimpong Manso, Emmanuel Amoah and Sampson Appiah among orders.

The club won the West African Football Union ( WAFU) Cup in 1987 and had since their relegation to the First Division in the latter part of the 1990s, found it difficult to stage a comeback to the premiership.

They suffered relegation to the Division two League in 2016 due to poor managements.

Five years later the club has suffer another demotion to the fourth tier League after winning just a game in 13 matches.
