Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku did not hold back when addressing the Black Stars on October 8, ahead of their crucial Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying matches against Sudan.

In a no-nonsense speech, Okraku candidly expressed his dissatisfaction with the team’s previous performance, labeling it as “sh**.”

Okraku’s comments came as the Black Stars prepare for the doubleheader on October 10 and October 14.

He stressed the responsibility the players have to the nation and reminded them of the expectations placed on their shoulders.

"It's important for us to remember that we belong to a privileged group, that we are here to serve. What they need from us is good performance, passion, and victory, that heals souls and heals families.

This is what the people need from us. You know in the last break you were scheisse (sh**). You know it," Okraku remarked bluntly.

As Ghana faces Sudan in the upcoming qualifiers, Okraku’s message serves as a stark reminder of the need for improvement and the high stakes of the upcoming matches.
