Ghanaian defender Kwadwo Asamoah has heaped praises on his teammates after Inter Milan's impressive trashing of Genoa at the San Siro.

Inter Milan beat Genoa by four goals to nil with a Romelu Lukaku brace and a goal each from Roberto Gagliadini and youngster Sebastiano Esposito from the spot.

The win sent Inter Milan to the summit of the Italian Serie A level on points with Juventus their nearest rivals who were playing Lazio in the Italian Super Cup in the Gulf.

Kwadwo Asamoah has been sidelined by an injury and had to watch from the stands but after his team's emphatic victory he could not remain silent as he sent a message on social media.

"Last game of the year, another victory! You guys are great!" the Ghanaian said on social media.

Inter Milan lead the Serie A table by 42 points same as Juventus but the Milan side are on top on goal difference.

  Antonio Conte's side are the winter champions as the Serie A goes on an a Christmas break and returns next year with Inter facing Napoli on 6th January 2020.
