Veteran Ghanaian midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah is currently training with Danish side FC Nordsjaelland during the pre-season.

The club could sign the 33-year-old midfielder if he impresses the technical handlers at the club.

Kwadwo Asamoah has been without a club since leaving Cagliari in July 2021 and has since been club-less despite not retiring from football.

For the entirety of the 2021/2022 season, the left sided midfielder/ defender was without a club but is keen on a return to action.

The club which has great affinity with Ghana are keen to add the experienced player to their ranks as they continue to observe him for next season.

Nordsjaelland manager Flemming Pedersen has however hinted in an interview that they are assessing their options with Asamoah whether he should play for them or act in a different role.

"Right now, no time has been set for his stay here with us. He is a player with huge experience that we can all benefit from having in our environment. Then we have to find out if he should perhaps play for us, or if he should have another function," the 59-year-old Dane gaffer told sn.dk.

The former Asokwa Deportivo player has spent the entirety of his playing career abroad in Italy since leaving Liberty Professionals in 2007.

He has played for giants such as Juventus, Inter Milan, Udinese, Cagliari winning six Serie A titles and 13 trophies in six years at Juventus.
