A close confidant and spokesperson for former Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah, Asante Fokuo says the salary arrears owed former Black Stars coach has yet to hit his accounts.

On Monday news in the local media suggested that the former Al Khartoum coach has been paid salary arrears and bonuses owed him during his second stint as coach of the senior national team the Black Stars.

The ex-Ghana coach claims to be owed five month salary arrears and match bonus for two games amounting to a total of $185,000.

In an interview, he disclosed that the paid salary arrears is yet to hit the bank accounts of coach Kwasi Appiah.

“We have been notified by Ministry of Youth and Sports that the amount owed Kwasi Appiah has been paid but the said amount is yet to hit his account.

“We will acknowledge receipt accordingly if his account is credited.

"Thanks in advance to the President of Ghana, the Minister and Ghanaians," he added.
