Laryea Kingston makes history with Uganda U17 qualification

Laryea Kingston has now written his name in gold, into East African football history, becoming the first Ghanaian coach to qualify Uganda’s U17 national team for a major international tournament.
The former Ghana U17 head coach guided Uganda to the 2026 U17 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco after a commanding run in the CECAFA U17 Qualifiers.
Road to Qualification
- Semi-final vs Ethiopia: Kingston’s side sealed qualification with a 3-0 victory.
