Former Black Stars winger Laryea Kingston says new Ajax signing Mohammed Kudus has all the needed qualities to excel at the highest level in football.

The Ghanaian International trained at the revered Right to Dream Academy in Ghana joined Dutch giants Ajax this summer for 9 million euros from FC Nordsjaelland.

A lot is expected from the talented midfielder who many in Ghana have dubbed a generational talent.

Laryea Kingston who is a coach at the Right to Dream Academy has also played in the past for Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem in Holland and believes Kudus will thrive.

He had a breakthrough season with his Danish side FC Nordsjaelland in the 2019/2020 season where he scored 11 goals in 25 league matches.

''Being with Right to Dream since he was eleven years provided him with all the fundamentals in football," Kingston, who is a developmental coach at the Right to Dream Academy, told Citi FM

''His skills goes beyond the football pitch because he is mentally tough and knows how to relate with people.

''This is a good move for him and I expect him to settle in quickly.'' he added.
