Ghanaian winger Latif Blessing is attracting interest from Brazilian club Botafogo with the club keen to wrap up a deal in the coming days.

The forward is currently on the books of Major League Soccer(MLS) side Los Angeles FC but the South American side is keen to snap up the diminutive forward.

According to reports, initial talks have started between the player's representatives and the South American club with the player keen on a new adventure.

The transfer is reportedly being instigated by one prominent Brazilian football administrator Andre Mazzuco who is presently the executive director of football at Botafogo.

Mazzuco has been following the exploits of the Ghanaian winger for some time and even wanted to sign him for Vasco Da Gama when he worked there in 2020 and has seemingly revived the interest at his new club.

Talks have began with the player's club and are expected to accelerate in the coming days with an agreement expected in the ensuing days as the player wants the move.

Latif Blessing has a contract with Los Angeles FC that runs out at the end of the year at the club he joined in 2018.

He has scored 16 goals in 129 matches for his MLS club.
