Legon Cities head coach Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin remains undaunted about his job security despite the team's challenging start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

The Royals have struggled to find form, securing just two points from their first seven games, placing them at the bottom of the league table.

After a goalless draw against Accra Lions at the University of Ghana Stadium on Sunday, Legon Cities continue their search for a first league win of the season.

Coach Fabin acknowledges the disappointing results but remains focused on the team's long-term development. "Our team is a work in progress.

Two points from seven games is not good enough, and I must admit it," Fabin commented. "But what can we do? We will keep working hard and aim to win games."

When questioned about the possibility of dismissal due to the team’s poor run, Fabin responded calmly, saying, “I keep telling people that, if the worst comes, I will be asked to step aside, and I will quickly do so.”

Legon Cities face a difficult test on Wednesday as they take on a determined Asante Kotoko side in a rescheduled Ghana Premier League clash.

Fabin and his team will need to demonstrate resilience and a renewed focus if they hope to climb up the standings and secure their place in the league.
