Leicester City, an English Championship side, is reportedly keen on securing the services of Arsenal FC attacker Eddie Nketiah during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Foxes have joined the race for the English-born Ghanaian after emerging as contenders alongside English Premier League clubs Brentford FC and Crystal Palace FC.

Leicester City sees the 24-year-old striker as a potential replacement for the club legend Jamie Vardy, who is set to depart at the end of the 2023-24 season.

However, Leicester City faces competition from Brentford FC, who view Nketiah as a direct successor to the departing Ivan Toney, as well as Crystal Palace, who are seeking to bolster their attacking options for the next season's campaign.

Nketiah has faced challenges under Mikel Arteta this season, struggling to secure a starting position following the arrival of Kai Havertz in the attacking department, limiting the former England U20 star's opportunities at the London-based club.

Despite the limited playing time, Nketiah has managed to contribute six goals and three assists in 33 appearances for Arsenal across all competitions this season.
