Liberty Professionals moved out of the relegation zone with a 2-0 win over Berekum Chelsea at the WAFA Stadium  on Saturday afternoon in the Ghana Premier League matchday 21 clash.

Goals from Abraham Wayo and Awudu were enough to give the hosts three consecutive wins for the first time this season.

Abraham Wayo scored the opener early on the sixth minute in Sogakope as the Scientific Soccer Lads marched towards a third successive victory.

Adamu Amadu scored Liberty’s second with a beautiful curler to secure the three maximum points that gave life to their season once again after finishing the first round in the drop zone.

The 2-0 win means Liberty Professionals have won three of their four games in the second round of the Ghana Premier League.

The Scientific Soccer Lads, temporarily, are out of the relegation zone with 24 points and 14th on the table as the other teams play tomorrow.
