Ghana Premier league sides Liberty Professionals and Dreams FC played out an entertaining 1-1 draw in a preseason friendly at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman on Sunday afternoon.

The game, which was witnessed by new Ghana football Association President Kurt Okraku saw the home side dominating the opening half and taking the lead through star forward Elvis Kyei-Baffour.

Dreams FC rallied back in the second half in an impressive fashion to take the game to their host with persistent pressure which paid off with an equalizer late in the game after a quick counter attack.

The game is the first at the Carl Reindorf since Liberty beat Wa All Stars 1-0 in September.

The pitch has since been undergoing renovation works to make it ready for the start for the start of the new Ghana top flight campaign which is slated for December.

Meanwhile, the Carl Reindorf pitch is now ready and the Scientific soccer Lads are set to return to training there on Monday.

The Dansoman based club have also lined up to more friendlies with two unnamed Ghana premier league sides in the coming weeks as they continue preparations towards the kick off of the 2019-20 season.
