Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals defeated division one league side  Young Apostles 2-0 in a preseason friendly match at the Carl Reindorf Park on Wednesday afternoon.

Then Dansoman based club capped off a dominant first half display with a goal in the 30th minute from forward George Ansong who captained the side in the absence of skipper Ernest Papa Arko.

Liberty returned for the second half with a completely different team, most of whom are players promoted from the club's Academy.

Both teams looked to have settled for the 1-0 scoreline before Youngster Godfred Atuahene launched onto a lose ball on the edge of the Young Apostles area to put the game to bed.

The match was preceded by a curtain raiser between the Youth teams of the two sides.

There were several good talent on display for the 30-minutes exercise which ended goal-less.
