Ghanaian defender Lumor Agbenyenu is currently on trial with Spanish Segunda division side Malaga after entering contract talks with the club.

The defender was expecting to be handed an outright contract but the Spanish side has requested that he undergoes trials before he is awarded a contract.

Lumor Agbenyenu was born on 15/08/1996  in Accra, Ghana, and is a powerful, pacey left-back, who can also operate as a playmaker.

After ending his contractual relationship with Aris Thessaloniki, the footballer joins Malaga on a trial basis.

The player has been training on his own in the final part of his training session but will join the first team group in the coming days.

Lumor knows Spanish football perfectly well, having played for RCD Mallorca in the 19/20 campaign, where he played 23 matches in LaLiga Santander.

The technical team of Malaga will determine whether to offer him a contract or pass him on.

Agbenyenu has previously played for Wassaman United, Portimonense, 1860 Munich, Sporting CP, Aris Thessaloniki, Göztepe, and Real Mallorca.

The 26-year-old left-back has been capped by Ghana 13 times with his last coming in June 2017.
