National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer aspirant, John Dramani Mahama has interacted with former appointees of his erstwhile administration in Accra.

This follows the former president’s meeting with the NDC caucus in parliament on Tuesday.

Mr Mahama in his meeting with the NDC MPs noted that he wants to make history with the party as the only reelected former President as Head of State in 2020.

"My brothers and sisters, I believe we can make history, and that is the history of the re-election of a person who was president before. It is a rare phenomenon.

"I believe the NDC will write a page in the history books of Ghana with the reelection of a person who has been president before," he opined.

He also pleaded with the former appointees to cease the blame game, regarding why the NDC lost the 2016 elections.

He also said he was ready to support whoever emerged as flagbearer for the 2020 elections.
