President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said the  much touted road projects and infrastructure by the erstwhile Mahama administration only exists in the famous “Green Book”.

President Akufo-Addo indicated that the massive infrastructural projects as claimed by the opposition NDC are non existent.

President Akufo-Addo assessed that, “The road infrastructure the NDC boasted off can only be found in the Green Book.”

Speaking at a durbar of chiefs and people of Assin Jakai in the Assin South constituency, President Akufo-Addo indicated that the government will soon begin construction of major roads in the Assin South constituency.

“From Sewiasi to Womaho road, the bitumen surfacing of the road is happening right now and the Assin Mtanso to Otcheso road has also been awarded to a contractor to start work.”

Nana Akufo-Addo added, “The Nsuta town roads have also been awarded to a contractor to begin work, for the Nyankomasi Jakai Chimso road, the first phase of the project has been awarded to contractors.”

The president indicated that the projects will be completed on time for commissioning.

He also urged the people of Assin South constituency to rally behind the Member of Parliament for the area, John Ntim Fordjour to win the 2020 parliamentary seat.

“I want you all to support your Member of Parliament since he is doing a good work and he deserves a second term in parliament,” the president added.
