Ghanaian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru played the entire duration of his team's 1-1 draw in the Austrian Bundesliga.

Red Bull Salzburg grabbed a hard earned point away to Sturm Graz in the Bundesliga game at the UPC Arena.

The home side Sturm Graz opened the scoring against the league leaders in the 17th minute through defensive midfielder Ivan Ljubic.

Salzburg threw everything at the home side in their quest for the much needed equalizer but they kept their defensive shape keeping the away side at bay.

Red Salzurg finnally got the breakthrough as 19 year old Malian striker Sekou Koita scored  in the 73 rd minute to give his side a share of the spoils.

The Ghanaian midfielder has made 7 appearances for his side scoring two goals while providing 2 assist.

Red Bull Salzburg will next play in the Champions league at home to Napoli where Majeed will hope to feature.

Despite the draw Salzburg are still top of the Austrian Bundesliga three points ahead of second placed LASK Linz.
