Reigning Ghana Premier League champions, Accra Hearts of Oak have lost another player Manaf Umar as the player has departed the club following the expiry of his contract.

The youngster was close to joining newly promoted Real Tamale United at the start of the 2021/2022 season but the deal fell through.

According to reports the attacking midfielder has left the Ghana champions as a free agent and will in the coming days sign for RTU.

Since coach Samuel Boadu took over the club the youngster's game time has drastically reduced which clearly indicates that he is not rated by the young gaffer.

Manaf Umar was part of the Hearts of Oak squad that won the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League title and the MTN FA Cup title last season.

He is set to sign for RTU when the second transfer window opens very soon as he seeks to relaunch his flailing career at his new side.
