Aduana Stars have set their sights on winning the Ghana Premier League title for the upcoming season.

After about six months hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, football returns next month at various Ghana Premier League venues.

Aduana Stars have since gaining entry into the Ghana Premier League in 2008/2009 season won two Ghana Premier League title with the first coming in their debut season under the late Hebert Addo before the added a second under the late coach Yusif Abubakr in 2017.

Speaking in an interview with Kumasi FM, the spokesperson for the club Evan Oppong says they want to win the league to commemorate Dormaahene's 20th anniversary on the Dormaa stool.

"Our target is to win the league this season,we have prayed and prepared for it.We are taking inspiration from our last season performance."

"We have the most consistent team in the league,we have kept players for the past five years."

"We have the best coach in Paa Kwesi Fabian,he’s at far the most experienced coach.

Management have met and informed the playing body and technical team of this target and tasked them to win the league this season."

"Club owner,Osagyefo Agyemang Badu is celebrating his 20th year of enstoolment and we have promised to win the league for him,"he added.
