Manchester United have reportedly gazumped Dutch champions Ajax for the signature of in demand Ghanaian forward Kamaldeen Sulemana.

The crafty forward is being chased by a lot of clubs in Europe with the Dutch champions thought to be leading the race but the English side have reportedly trumped their offer with a bigger one.

Ajax have tabled £12 million for the signature of the FC Nordsjaelland forward while Manchester United have also offered £3million pounds more.

According reports emanating from England talks have been held between the two clubs and the Danish side this week with the English side in the driving seat.

Football Insider says Ajax had already tabled a £12million bid for the 19-year-old, with Nordsjaelland understandably keen to hear what Man United had to say before agreeing to a fee £3M below their asking price.

The Ghanaian forward has been in sensational form scoring ten goals this season with seven assists in 27 games this season.
