Ghanaian center back Mark Kwarteng has sealed a transfer move to Swedish lower tier side Grebbstand IF.

The defender was born in Italy to Ghanaian parents and has been playing in the lower divisions of Italian football.

Kwateng has signed a long term contract with his new side after passing a medical examination and agreeing personal terms.

“I want to play all the matches and help the team win all the matches. That we are fighting at the top of the series,” he told the club’s website after signing the deal.

The defender has in the past played in the basement of the Italian divisions for the likes of  Saló Giovanili (2019), Armando Picci on loan (2019), back to Saló Giovanili (2020), Morolo (2020) and most recently in Bastia Calcio 1924 (2021).
