Striker Evans Aidoo on Sunday  grabbed his 3rd premier league goal for Accra Hearts of Oak to deny a 10-man Elimina Sharks a victory in their match day eight clash at the Papa Induom  stadium.

Sharks  had to finish the last 14 minutes  of the game with 10 men as midfielder  Benjamin Arthur received a red card for his dangerous  tackle on Manaf.

The Phobians had gone into the game with injury worries but were the first to make dangerous  incursions, with Umar Mama's rebound  hitting the bar.

Their incessant attacks couldn't  not troubled Yaw  Acheampong's men who kept catching the Phobians on the break.

It paid  off when attacker  James Bissue capitalised on defensive blunder  to put Sharks into the lead.

They could have doubled their lead but Justice Mensah shot wide with  only the goalkeeper to beat.

The Phobians nearly equalized just after the half-hour mark but goalkeeper Bawa Martey produced a quality with another beautiful save from a low powerful drive.

Hearts of Oak continued their push for the equalizer before the break but Elmina Sharks thwarted their efforts with some convincing defending.

Left-back  Raddy Ovouka sent a perfectly weighted pass to Daniel Afriyie but a timely clearance by the sharks defenders denied him of a goal.

Tweneboah got booked for a yellow after protesting to the centre referee.

Hearts of Oak's pressure paid off and got the equalizer through Victor Aidoo who headed in a cross from Fatawu Mohammed.

It is the young  chaps 3rd goal in two consecutive  matches, having scored  a brace in the team's 6-1 victory against  Bechem United.

After 76 minutes, Elmina Sharks were reduced to ten men after Benjamin Arthur accumulated yellow cards.

A minute later, Hearts of Oak coach Kosta Papic introduced Patrick Razak for Daniel Afriyie.

His inclusion produced some glimpses  of hope for the Phobians but not as dangerous  tormentor he has been known  to be.

It was a game of equals but it was the Phobians  who returned to Accra with a vital away points.
