McDan Group is set to launch a private jet terminal at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) in Accra.

This comes barely four (4) months after business mogul and Group CEO, Dr. Daniel McKorley bought a private jet for the aviation wing of his company.

The terminal will officially be opened on January 26, 2022, says McDan.

He noted that every private jet flying into Ghana would have to pass through this terminal.

He indicated the terminal would be commercialized and create job opportunities for over 400 people.

The company will kick start the Commercial Private Jet Services with 3 Jests and 1 helicopter whilst arrangements would be made for the addition of the Bombardier, Chaligerer, BV Jet, and helicopters to offer air-ambulance medical and domestic tourism.

Dr McKorley described the establishment of the private jet terminal as an opportunity for businesses to thrive more in the sub-region and the continent as large.

In September 2021, McDan Group acquires its first private jet

Prior to the acquisition of the jet, McDan had received its operational license as Ghana's Fixed Base Operator (FBO) back in 2019.

The company will now offer rentals, engine maintenance, aircraft service operations, aircraft inframe and general aviation operations at the KIA.
