Club captain for Medeama, Joseph Tetteh Zutah has been discharged from the hospital after sustaining a thigh injury in their 1-0 triumph over Karela United in the Ghana Premier League match day 28 clash on Saturday.

The midfielder was taken off in the second half of their game against Karela United after suffering an injury and was replaced by Kwadwo Asamoah in the second half of their game.

Zutah was immediately sent to the hospital as the club medics feared the injury may have been worse than initially feared but after scans it came to light that there was no tear in his thigh.

The club have announced that the player has been discharged from hospital and has been placed on medication while he continues his recovery.
