Medeama will keep hold of their prized asset Justice Blay for the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

The club had been locked in a marathon discussion with Kumasi Asante Kotoko about transfer of the player but the move has collapsed.

According to Chief Executive Officer of Medeama SC, James Essilfie the midfielder is going nowhere and will stay with the Tarkwa based side for the coming season.

“Blay is at the camp of Medeama and will play for the club in the upcoming season” he told Kumasi based Pure FM.

Last season the player was on loan at Asante Kotoko were he impressed greatly and has never hidden his willingness to continue with the Kumasi based side.

Kotoko tried all they could to sign Blay from Medeama but the deal fell through as both sides could not agree a fee.

Justice Blay has a contract with Medeama that expires in 2022.
