Nebojsa Kapor, the head coach of Medeama SC, has addressed his team's recent struggles in finding the back of the net, urging his players to maintain a positive mindset.

The defending champions have encountered difficulties in scoring goals, managing just four goals in their last nine games across all competitions, with only two victories in this period.

Their most recent setback came in a narrow 1-0 defeat to league leaders Samartex 1996 during Week 24 of the Ghana Premier League 2023-2024 season at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena Samraboi.

Currently occupying the ninth position on the league table with 33 points, Medeama SC faces a challenging situation as they strive to regain their form.

Speaking at a pre-match press conference ahead of their Match Day 25 encounter against Accra Hearts of Oak at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa, Coach Kapor expressed concern over the team's goal-scoring woes.

"It's a very difficult situation to explain. The players are doing everything to score. Sometimes in the game, we shoot very well. For me, we must continue to work very hard because it's not one player's fault," Kapor emphasized.

Highlighting the collective responsibility of the team, Kapor stressed the importance of maintaining a positive attitude and overcoming the challenges they face.

"The whole team can't score. I try to tell them not to be negative but to focus and overcome this period," he concluded, urging his players to remain focused and determined in their pursuit of success.
