Ghanaian champions Medeama SC have embarked on a training tour to the United Arab Emirates, specifically Dubai, to regroup and prepare for upcoming challenges in the ongoing season.

The two-time FA Cup champions departed from Ghana on Monday afternoon, accompanied by players, technical staff, and other officials, for a short training stint in Dubai.

During their stay, Medeama SC will be hosted by UAE Pro League side Al-Nasr SC, who have extended their hospitality to provide a conducive environment for training and friendly matches.

The partnership aims to allow Medeama SC to test their strength and refine their tactics as they seek to improve their performance in the remainder of the season.

The training tour comes on the heels of a disappointing 0-1 home loss to Egyptian giants Al Ahly in matchday five of the CAF Champions League.

With their elimination from the competition confirmed, Medeama SC is focusing on regrouping and fine-tuning their strategies for upcoming challenges.

As part of their preparations, Medeama SC is scheduled to engage in training sessions to acclimatize to the conditions in Dubai before facing Al-Nasr SC in a preparatory friendly match.

Subsequently, they will travel to Algeria to face CR Belouizdad in their final group match on Friday, March 1, 2024.

The training tour represents an opportunity for Medeama SC to rejuvenate and refocus, with the aim of finishing the season on a positive note.
