Medeama Football Club is making the final preparations for their highly anticipated CAF Champions League clash against Horoya AC, scheduled for just 24 hours away.

The Ghanaian giants arrived in Conakry with a 19-man squad, ready to battle it out at the GLC Nongo Stadium.

Coach Evans Augustine Adotey will oversee the critical training session at 16:00 GMT (4 pm) today, setting the stage for the epic encounter on Saturday.

Medeama's Mauve and Yellow squad will be bolstered by the return of key players, including striker Jonathan Sowah, defender Fatawu Hamidu, and winger Derrick Fordjour, who are back in the squad for this pivotal match.

Unfortunately, midfielder Manuel Mantey and winger Theophilus Anobah are the notable absentees from the squad due to injuries.

Despite their efforts, they were unable to recover in time to join the team in Conakry.

Medeama is heading into the reverse fixture with a 3-1 advantage, gained in the first leg.

The Ghana Premier League champions are aiming to replicate the achievement of Berekum Chelsea in 2012, when the former Premier League champions successfully qualified for the group stage of Africa's elite inter-club competition.

The stage is set for a thrilling encounter as Medeama looks to make history in the CAF Champions League.
