Head coach of Medeama Sporting Club Samuel Boadu says his team is ready for the upcoming 2019/2020 league season.

The young energetic trainer led his Medeama side to the summit of the 2017/2018 league season before it was truncated due to alleged corruption allegations by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas into Ghana football at the time.

"Medeama is well prepared for the upcoming league season we want to improve on how we play our football." he told Kumasi based Akoma Fm in an interview.

"We have some very good youth team players we have promoted to the senior team we used three months to do that project."

According to the trainer they are a team that believes in the potentials of young players irrespective of one's age.

"Our philosophy is that we give young players the chance at Medeama to exhibit their talents as for us we think about performance not age.

"If you are good enough age does not matter here at Medeama and the leadership of the team is very supportive.

We don’t have any targets for the season we just go match after match all we want is that our supporters are happy with the performance of the team." he said.
