Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC have cut loose some dead wood from their squad as reported by Ghanaguardian.com last week as they plan for the 2021/2022 season after a disappointing 2020/2021 season.

Medeama have mutually parted ways with midfielder Eric Kwakwa, striker Abass Mohammed and defender Bright Enchill.

The mauve and yellows have appointed a new coach and some players will be casualties of the new regime.

Eric Kwakwa and Abass Mohammed are  players who have played for the Tarkwa based club for a long time after spells outside the club and were integral in the clubs CAF Confederations Cup campaign in the 2015/2016 season under Tom Strand.

Bright Enhchill and Eric Kwakwa was very regular for Medeama in the just ended season but they have been let go by the club.

Already Frank Boateng and Eric Ofori Antwi have already left the club with Felix Annang and Gideon Ahenkorah tipped to replace them but more will follow through the Medeama exit door soon.

The Tarkwa based side ended the 2020/2021 season empty handed after placing 5th in the league and reaching the semi finals of the MTN FA Cup where they were dumped by Hearts of Oak.
