Medeama, the reigning Ghanaian champions, have made a groundbreaking move by signing a cooperation agreement with Dubai-based Al Nasr SC to enhance the exchange of technical and administrative expertise.

The agreement, signed in the presence of Al Nasr chairman Abdulla Bin Touq and Medeama president Moses Armah, marks a significant milestone for both clubs.

The signing took place at the Al-Maktoum Stadium during Medeama's trip to Algiers for their final CAF Champions League match against CR Belouizdad.

This historic partnership establishes Medeama as the first Ghanaian club in recent memory to formalize relations with an Emirati club.

The "cooperation agreement" encompasses various areas of collaboration, including technical and sports cooperation to broaden international reach and create global opportunities for mutual benefit.

Key components of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) include knowledge sharing, capacity building for administrators, sponsorship opportunities, and exchange visits by technical staff and football management experts. The aim is to leverage the best practices of both clubs to enhance performance and development.

Medeama president Moses Armah signed the agreement on behalf of the Ghanaian club, while Al Nasr chairman Abdulla Bin Touq represented the Emirati side.

Top officials from both clubs served as witnesses to formalize the deal.

As part of the agreement, Medeama conducted a one-day training camp at the Al Nasr facility before their departure to Algeria for the final CAF Champions League group stage match against CR Belouizdad.

This collaboration signifies a new era of cooperation between Ghanaian and Emirati football, paving the way for future exchanges and advancements in the sport.
