Dutch International Memphis Depay has been linked with a possible January transfer move to English side Tottenham Hotspurs and he has done little to down play a possible move away.

The Olympic Lyonnais midfield has stoked the flames saying he will not  rule out a possible move to the English premier league as it's a competition he strongly fancies but sets standards for any club he will join in the future.

According to reports in the English media, Tottenham is preparing a 58 million pound bid for Memphis, who flopped at Manchester United.

"I don't want to talk about that. I don't want to talk about rumors that I know nothing about," Memphis tells VoetbalPrimeur. "We leave it in the corridors. I am focused on a strong season so far."

Memphis is charmed by the Premier League and sets requirements for a possible new employer.

"It is a very nice competition. It depends on the club that is interested. I belong in a team that plays good football and can play around me so that I can do my thing. I never rule it out."he added.
