Ghanaian midfielder Michael Baidoo continued his impressive scoring form for IF Elfsborg with a key goal in their 2-0 victory over Sheriff Tiraspol in the UEFA Europa League qualifiers on Thursday.

Baidoo scored the second goal of the match, securing Elfsborg's progression to the next stage of the qualifiers.

The opening goal came early in the game when Ghanaian youngster Jalal Abdullai scored just two minutes in, with an assist from defender Niklas Hult at the Boras Arena.

Baidoo extended Elfsborg's lead in the 72nd minute, converting a pass from forward Simon Hedlund to seal the win.

Ghanaian defender Terry Yegbe also contributed, playing the full match and helping Elfsborg advance with a 3-0 aggregate scoreline.

This season, Baidoo has been in stellar form, netting eight goals across all competitions and providing six assists in 20 appearances.
