Former Ghanaian international Michael Essien has returned to Ghana with Danish club FC Nordsjaelland as part of a cultural exchange program aimed at inspiring young football talents and strengthening ties with the country.
The delegation, which arrived on Saturday, December 7, is stationed at the Right to Dream Academy in Old Akrade.
Kicking off their visit, the team conducted their first training session on Monday morning, initiating a series of activities designed to immerse players and staff in Ghanaian culture.
Essien, who plays a pivotal role in FC Nordsjaelland’s coaching setup, has drawn significant attention from aspiring footballers and fans across Ghana.
This initiative highlights FC Nordsjaelland’s commitment to nurturing young talent while fostering diversity and cultural appreciation.
Alongside Essien, the first-team players and staff will actively engage in programs during their stay, reinforcing the strong partnership between the club and the Right to Dream Academy.
