Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Michael Vinicius has penned a goodbye message to his former side after the termination of his contract by the club.

He took to his twitter handle to pen his heartfelt message to his former club during his brief stint.

"I ended my life in Ashanti Kotoko and left the coast. It was a short but real impact. Thank you for your support and the kind welcome you offered me, I really can't pay if you charge Lucky for all of you for the rest of the season and beyond. Always fabulous! Do not judge"

The Brazilian striker who was signed in March by the club on a two and half year contract had his contract terminated by mutual consent after what the club termed due to personal reasons.

The player did not feature for the club in Ghana Premier League matches after playing for Kotoko against Ebusua Dwarfs.

He scored two goals for the club in the Ghana Premier League during his brief stint with the club.

The 27 year old forward has in the past played for Swedish sides Linkoping City and Vasalunds IF.

He is the second Brazilian player to have joined Kumasi Asante Kotoko after Fabio Gama was acquired by the club at the beginning of the current season.

Michael is a Fluminese youth team product and made 11 appearances for the Brazilian giants scoring just once.
