The Minister for Water Resources and Sanitation is the worst in the Akufo Addo administration, Alliance for Social Equity and Public Accountability-ASEPA has said.

ASEPA at the launch of it's 2019 Ministerial Performance tracking Report, also described the sector minister Mrs Cecelia Dapaah as the worst minister among the 122  ministers in the year under review.

In a list of the top 10 best-performing and worst-performing ministers in the Akufo-Addo government, she was ranked very low for her failure fight against filth.

The survey however scored the Minister for Regional Reorganisation as the best performing Minister in 2019.

The Finance Ministry and the finance minister also emerged the second worst performing Ministry and second worst performing Minister respectively

The tracking report, which assesses the performance of the various Ministries and Ministers, based it's findings on five key performance indicators.

"The report used 10 experts/Policy Analyst and 5000 public respondents sampled purposively across 3 regions," Executive Director Mensah Thompson said.

"The Public respondents were sampled from, Civil Societies, the Media, the Clergy, Students, lower and middle income groups."

According Thompson, a  team of analysts from the University of Ghana, University of Cape Coast and the University of Education, Winneba, were ranked the minister very low in her fight against filth.

The report also recommended for the immediate scrap of the following Ministries
1.Special Development Initiative
2.Business Development
3.Planning
4.Inner City and Zongo Development
5.Minister of State at the Presidency in Charge of Agriculture

The Report also called for Immediate Ministerial Reshuffle and the merging of some other Ministries.
