The Ministry of Health is disappointed by the behavior demonstrated by trainee nurses and midwives of the Nalerigu College and Nursing and Midwifery according to Dr. Kwasi Asabre  Director Human Resource for Health Minstry

Over the weekend some trainee nurses and midwives begged the former president while in a campaign tour in the area for voting him out and wants a swift return.

Speaking in an interview with Accra based Neat Fm, Director of Human Resources  for the ministry, Dr. Nana Kwasi Asabre outlined some achievements made by this government over the last two years and did not warrant this unpleasant display of ungratefulness if they cannot tell the good story done by this government.

“If someone does something good for you don’t repay him with ingratitude this government promised to restore the monthly allowance and it does not owe a penny.

“We have settled payment of their allowance fully for the 2019/2020 academic year. We have paid over 51,000 trainees allowances fully. “

“We have also employed over 54,300 nurses and health professionals since we took over government. What else do they want form us” he queried.

According to him management of the school will conduct an investigation into the conduct of the students and report their findings to the ministry for the appropriate sanctions.

He was surprised as to how they were able to gather such a large number of students as they are currently on vacation.
