Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus showcased his talent once more as West Ham United secured a crucial 4-2 victory against Brentford at the London Olympic Stadium on Monday night.

Kudus played a pivotal role in West Ham's triumph, providing the assist for the Hammers' third goal with a sublime cross that was expertly finished by Jarrod Bowen to complete his hat-trick in the 63rd minute.

Bowen had earlier put West Ham ahead with two quick goals within the first seven minutes of the game, giving the hosts a 2-0 lead.

However, Brentford's Neal Maupay managed to pull one back for the visitors just before halftime.

Shortly after Bowen's third goal, Emerson capitalized on a defensive lapse from Brentford, converting a chance created by Kudus with a well-taken volley to further extend West Ham's advantage.

Although DR Congo's AFCON star Yoanne Wissa scored a late goal for Brentford, it was not enough to mount a comeback against a resilient West Ham side, securing their victory.
