Black Stars defender Mohammed Salisu has demonstrated his generosity towards the less privileged during the holy month of Ramadan by donating assorted foodstuffs and money to Muslims in Kumasi.

In addition to this, the Monaco defender has collaborated with several NGOs, providing funding for medical screening and support initiatives.

Ramadan is a time of fasting, prayer, and community involvement for Muslims worldwide, observed during the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.

Salisu has taken it upon himself to make a meaningful contribution to society during this Islamic season, particularly in Kumasi.

He has donated money and foodstuffs to the Malama Sadia Abdulai Foundation, aiming to feed over 500 orphans.

Furthermore, the AS Monaco centre-back has partnered with Hajia Sadia Asuame to feed over 300 impoverished individuals in Kumasi, with additional support extended to provide medical attention to the sick.

Salisu, whose footballing journey began with Kumasi Barcelona Babies in Ghana, rose to prominence in Europe in 2017 with Real Valladolid in Spain.

He has since impressed with his performances, including a three-year stint in England with Southampton.
