Ghanaian lawyer Moses Foh-Amoaning has called on the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to openly share their strategy for restoring the glory of the Black Stars and Ghanaian football.

Speaking on Asempa FM, Foh-Amoaning expressed his disappointment over the national team's dismal performance in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers, where the Black Stars failed to qualify for the tournament for the first time in 21 years.

Foh-Amoaning criticized the lack of transparency and urged the GFA to engage Ghanaians by presenting a clear plan for addressing the current challenges.

"The FA should not just have Executive Committee meetings to make decisions behind closed doors.

They need to come out and tell Ghanaians, 'This is where we are; it’s a mess, but we need your patience.' They should outline what they have done and where they intend to take Ghana football," he said.

He also dismissed the notion of merely apologizing for the failures, insisting that Ghanaians deserve more than an apology.

"Simply saying 'we're sorry' is not enough. That approach will not resonate with Ghanaians," he concluded.

The Black Stars' campaign in Group F, which included Angola, Sudan, and Niger, yielded just three points from six matches, marking one of the lowest points in the team’s history.

Foh-Amoaning's comments underscore the growing demand for accountability and actionable reforms within Ghana football.
