Mozambique's head coach, Chiquinho Conde, has acknowledged the quality of the Black Stars ahead of their crucial 2023 Africa Cup of Nations encounter.

The Black Stars face Mozambique in a must-win match on Monday after failing to secure a victory in their first two games—a 2-1 loss to Cape Verde and a 2-2 draw with Egypt.

In a pre-match press conference, Conde revealed that his team plans to provoke the Ghanaian side, recognizing their quality while suggesting they lack peace of mind. He expressed confidence in frustrating the Black Stars in the crucial game.

"We are going to provoke the Ghana team. We know they have quality but they don’t have peace of mind," Conde declared.

Both Ghana and Mozambique need a victory in Monday's match to progress to the next round of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d'Ivoire.

Cape Verde has already secured the top spot in the group with consecutive wins, while Egypt occupies the second position with two points.

The encounter between Ghana and Mozambique will determine which team advances in the competition.
