Ghana and KAS Eupen midfielder Mubarak Wakaso returned from suspension for his side over the weekend in the heavy 4-0 thumping against Gent.

The veteran midfielder who is on loan from Chinese side Shenzhen was suspended for his team's last match against Sint Truiden.

Mubarak Wakaso who was unattached but earned a call-up to the Black Stars recently will be pushing for a  place on the plane to Qatar.

The midfielder started and completed the entire 90 minutes when his team was heavily beaten by Gent.

Wakao has played 70 times for Ghana scoring 13 times and has played at the 2010 and 2014 World Cup for Ghana.

Next Saturday, the Eupen will be guests at Cercle Bruges and will have to show that they can score points against direct competitors in the fight to stay up in the league.

Wakaso was not the only Ghanaian player on display as Elisha Owusu, Isaac Nuhu all played for their various teams.
