Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso returned to training with the rest of his team mates after a weekend of rest due to the International break.

Asier Garitano and his squad did some ball work on the grass pitch in an afternoon session on Monday at the José Luis Compañón Sports City.

Among the players present for the training session was Ghanaain midfielder Mubara Wakaso   who completed the entire session accompanied by a protective splint.

The midfielder sustained a fracture in his side’s League match against Osasuna before the International break.

“Wakaso Mubarak has been intervened today in the Mutualia HAR of the fracture in the metacarpus of his right hand that he suffered in the last match against CD Osasuna,” Deportivo Alaves wrote on their website at the time of his injury.

“The intervention has elapsed as scheduled and from tomorrow will return to training with the rest of the team.”
The Ghanaian midfielder missed the Black Stars double header victories over South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe due to the injury.
