Counsel for the suspended Chief Executive officer of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA), Augustine Obour insists that his client never committed any crime in the ‘contract for sale’ documentary.

The embattled chief executive officer was fingered in a documentary piece dubbed ‘contracts for sale’ by freelance journalist Manasseh Azure Awini.

It was revealed in the said documentary that Talent Discovery a company set up and owned by the suspended chief executive officer was winning sole sourcing contracts been giving out and then been sold off for huge profits to interested companies.

But speaking on the sidelines of his client’s invitation to the office of the special prosecutor, lawyer for the beleaguered CEO queried where exactly his client went wrong charging anyone to bring proof of contracts bought from his client, quickly brushing aside the findings of the ‘contract for sale documentary’.

“They say contracts for sale so the person who has bought a contracts from TDL should come out and say yes I bought a contract from this company

“Let me know a signed contract that TDL has entered into agreement with anyone company. Let me know it” he demanded.

After airing of the documentary the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo swiftly suspended the CRO for the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) Agyenim Boateng Agyei.
