Myron Boadu has been named in the Dutch Eredivisie Team of the Week after  scoring a brace for his AZ Alkmaar side as they beat Heracles 5-0 in the Dutch Eredivisie game on Sunday afternoon.

The Dutch International of Ghanaian descent has been very impressive in recent matches after a slow start to the season.

He was in the form of his life last season before the COVID-29 forced the cancellation of the Dutch Eredivisie.

In the final match of the 2020/2021 season the 19 year old striker scored twice as they made light work of Heracles.

Boadu gave Alkmaar a 41st minute lead as they went into the break before a brace from Jesper Karlsson in the 60th minute,Boadu added his second goal in the 74th minute.

Owen Wijndal also added a goal to make it an emphatic 5-0 victory for AZ Alkamaar.

The Dutch International has now scored 15 goals in 31 Eredivisie matches for his side this campaign.
